Chronological extract (Chronologischer Abdruck, CD)

By the e-handelsregisterauszug.de editorial team · Published · Reviewed

A chronological extract, abbreviated CD, contains the entries of the electronically maintained register sheet, including entries that are no longer operative. It helps trace changes within the electronic register record.

Typical research questions

When was a changed company name entered? Which earlier details appear on the register sheet? Read entry dates and markings together; an older detail should not be used without considering later entries.

Different from a historical extract

Chronological and historical refer to different document types. Records preceding electronic register keeping may require a historical document, subject to availability for the company concerned.
